Outdoor Activity Worker – Rovaniemi

We are hiring Outdoor Activity Workers for Lapland Safaris Rovaniemi for Christmas season 2023!

A work day of an Outdoor Activity Worker consists of various tasks outdoor including activities in a Christmas themed activity area surrounded by the beautiful Lappish nature. The work is mostly independent, but at the same time you are a part of a big team, which works in the same area. The work includes the preparation of the activities and different kind of maintenance work. You are not required to be a seasoned professional – we will introduce you to the tasks before the season begins!

As an Outdoor Activity Worker, you will be working with international tourist groups which consist mostly of families. Your job is to be an activity leader for children and grown-ups. You will be introducing different kind of winter activities such as snowmobile sleigh ride to meet Santa Claus, tobogganing, serving berry juice by the fire, etc. to our customers. Also helping our customers with the safari gear and preparing the activity area is a part of your job.

Outdoor Activity Workers work during the busiest Christmas season which means that working days are hectic and sometimes days can be long. The length of the days varies according to the group and the program. Before the start of the actual work, Lapland Safaris organizes a training for the new staff. Knowledge, skills and safety are the main principles of the training. Training language is English. Employees will also be briefed to each task in the beginning of the employment.

The employment relationship is fixed-term seasonal job with an hour guarantee. It starts in the end of November and will last approximately until the end of December 2023.
