Snowmobile Sleigh Driver – Saariselkä

We are hiring Snowmobile Sleigh Drivers for Lapland Safaris Saariselkä for Christmas season 2023!

As a Snowmobile Driver you work with international tourist groups. Your job is to be a snowmobile sleigh driver for families during their activities in different venues.

The customers’ program in the activity areas is varied, and as a sleigh driver your job is to take the customers from one activity to another. Also helping our customers with the safari clothing, clothing maintenance and preparation work for the safaris and activities is a part of your job.

We expect you to be energetic, outgoing, positive with good customer service skills.  You will work in international environment, so good verbal English skills are necessary. Driving license is required. Driving skills, previous experience of tourism and of arctic circumstances are considered as advantageous. We appreciate flexibility as Christmas season is hectic and sometimes days can be long.

Before the start of the actual work, Lapland Safaris organizes a training for the new staff. Training includes learning the required guiding and communication skills as well as driving a snowmobile. Knowledge, skills and security are the main principles of the training. Training language is English. Employees will also be briefed to each task in the beginning of the employment.

The employment relationship is fixed-term seasonal job. Work begins in the end of November 2023 and will last approximately until the end of December 2023. We help our employees to find an accommodation in shared apartments, with a reasonable monthly rent.
