I’m an EU-citizen, do I need work permit in order to work in Finland?
If you are a citizen of an EU Member State, a Nordic country, Liechtenstein or Switzerland, you do not need a residence permit to stay or work in Finland.
You must apply for EU registration if you plan to reside in Finland for a longer period than three months without interruption. As an EU citizen, you have an unrestricted right to work in Finland even if you have not yet received a decision on your registration application.

To work in Finland, you probably need a work permit. It’s employees responsibility to apply it and take care of the process. The price will be depending on the lenght of your stay. More information about the process and prices from here: The Finnish Immigration Service Migri. If you need a visa to work in Finland, you apply it from The Ministry of Forreign Affairs of Finland.
The process can vary different years, so always check the latest information from Migri/Finnish embassy.

The Finnish Immigration Services (or Finnish embassy/consulate) processing times can affect to the fact if we can hire you or not. The permit/visa has to be approved before you come to Finland and start your work.
Christmas season (less than 90 days)
If you come from visa free country (the UK for example), you need to apply Certificate for seasonal work.
If you come to Finland from outside the EU for less than 90 days and you need visa, you must check the need of permit or work visa from your home country authorities.
Full season (more than 90 days)
If you come from visa free country (the UK for example), you need to apply Residence permit for seasonal work.
If you come to Finland from outside the EU for more than 90 days, you must check the need of permit or work visa from your home country authorities.
